I'm sadden this evening; news of Maeve Binchy's passing has been released.
Such a wonderfully talented and beautiful woman she was.
The man upstairs clearly called her back to him much too early as she has died at just 72.
Maeve has left a legacy of tales and stories behind her. Many of her wonderful books have been adapted for TV & film and its not surprising that with over 40 million books sold world wide the fabulous writer produced many a best seller.
Her first book, Light and Penny Candle was published in 1982.
