We've hated our kitchen since we moved in, seven years ago, but really done nothing with it. Budget strapped but bored we decided that now ( our Christmas break ) is the perfect time to start (what was to be) a small reno project.
We've not had a splashback for sometime and our kitchen has always been colourless and a little souless. Inspired by a conversation with our next door neighbour and her wallpaper splashback and my ever growing stack of magazines, that I cannot throw out, I decided to turn them into 'tiles'.
What do you think?
Of course our new splashback only highlighted the other aspects of the kitchen we hate so our cabinets and countertops will be painted, a trim and under cabinet lights added and our handles will be replaced! AND we're hoping to do all this for €100 (Stay tuned for updates)
